but! update on my s*xual assault situation: my last day at my job is friday! it was a seasonal position and they may or may not hire me for a full time position but im not gonna get my hopes up bc even tho i worked well and hard, they don’t want any extras to pay i think. so at least i wont have to be around my ex-supervisor again. i might need help in the mean time after (i have a second part time job at a laundromat but it’s little pay and i work two-three days outta the week) but im confident in finding another main job again. thank you to everyone who stood by me and shared their encouraging words and stories. it helped me not quit on the spot with everything going on like my grandma being on her de*thbed. i really am thankful to & for the tumblr community.
as of 12/28/2019, my work with my primary job has ended. im honestly a bit relieved i wont have to be in that environment anymore, but this also puts me & my family in a vulnerable position in the mean time until i find another job.
i don’t make enough at my other job to cover our rent, groceries and rides to my grandmother’s doctor appointments/visits to see her (& to get to interviews!).
if i can raise $700, that would be one less thing i have on my shoulders to carry, as i am also planning on petitioning for financial aid so i can go back to school this spring or summer, whichever works out first.

Once the talk of conspiracy theorists — the rich ingesting the blood of the young to foster longevity — is now a reality and an actual business in the United States. Not only is it a business but billionaires are actually admitting their interest in it. Now, even the mainstream media is reporting it.
Peter Thiel, the billionaire co-founder of PayPal and adviser to Donald Trump told Inc. magazine:
“I’m looking into parabiosis stuff, which I think is really interesting. This is where they did the young blood into older mice and they found that had a massive rejuvenating effect. I think there are a lot of these things that have been strangely under-explored.”
As Vanity Fair reports, Ambrosia, which buys its blood from blood banks, now has about 100 paying customers. Some are Silicon Valley technologists, like Thiel, though Karmazin stressed that tech types aren’t Ambrosia’s only clients and that anyone over 35 is eligible for its transfusions.
Aside from the gruesome historical and occult background of such practices, there is literally NO DATA that suggests the process even works.
“There‘s just no clinical evidence [that the treatment will be beneficial], and you‘re basically abusing people‘s trust and the public excitement around this,” Stanford University neuroscientist Tony Wyss-Coray, who conducted a 2014 study of young blood plasma in mice, told Science magazinelast summer, as reported by Vanity Fair.
when people point out unethical practices in producing food popular with vegans we are not saying the meat industry is somehow more ethical we’re saying your enemy should first and foremost be capitalism because that’s the source of exploitation and environmental destruction. it’s a fact that some vegans downplay capitalism as a factor and put the blame primarily on consumption of animal products, which of course dives into terribble discourse.
in case anyone wants me be dumb of ass I haven’t eaten meat since I was like 10. would it be nice if people stopped eating meat, yes. but under capitalism it’s not gonna happen for a number of reasons, some involving the affordability of food and climate change eliminating food sources. so capitalism enemy #1 folxs.
